Duvoisin & Co, Swiss Made guitars and basses, six-strings bass for Olivier Nussbaum

Our line guitars have an Oiled finish and have necks 20mm thick at the twelfth fret,
and 40mm wide at the nut (48.8 and 54.5mm for 5 et 6 strings).
As they are hand-made, small variations around these norms are possible.

Unless you make a particular request, our bass will be delivered with :
- our own pickups/preamp developped with the "Haute Ecole ARC, Ingénierie"
- our own bridge
- Hand-made Wooden knobs (in the same wood as the instrument ! )

For each model you have the following free choices:
Wood type (not for "Gstaad"); tuners, tailpiece colours (gold, cosmo black, chrome)
Neck shape.

The new model, Gstaad, out in 2009, is bigger than the Zurich model (1 cm longer and 1 cm wider).

Standard on the model, the sides of the headstock are rounded, and the grain of the wood brought out in black. (Natural pigments)

The body of the bass is made from heart of beech, for outstanding brilliance; the top and the back are in ash.

For this particular model, which can come with 4, 5, or 6 strings, fretted or fretless, we consider these woods the best option. Other woods are possible, but we would have to discuss the matter before making the bass.
