Noticed by Gilles and Jacques in regional events, Jérémie Magnin's performances promise a great musical future for this talented young bass player from Neuchâtel.

Thanks to his open-mindedness and excellent technique, Jérémie interests himself in different musical styles. He craves for music and doesn't fear numerous rehearsals to improve his skills. For this reason, he is the bass player for three different bands (funk, punk and folk-rock), a fourth project (jazz) is in planning.

In 2010, Duvoisin & Co decided to support and encourage this young Swiss bassist, so that he may succeed in perfecting his play in the different bands in which he performs, helped by his new 4-string bass, model Zürich.

Jérémie's biography:

Bassist since 2004, Jérémie Magnin played in several bands before settling in the funk band Crescent City Connection, founded in 2007. With the rhythm section of Crescent City Connection, Jérémie Magnin regularly plays for breakdance battles. He is also the bassist for the punk-rock band Whut Up Dawg!, created in 2009, and in which he also sings lead vocals. Jérémie writes music and lyrics both those bands. More recently, in November 2010, he joined the Juan Blanco Trio, a folk-rock band which will play its first shows in 2011. As all these different bands point out, this Swiss bass player appreciates several musical styles and presents no hesitation about touching all these genres.
